Common questions
The app isn’t recording anything.
Check that tracking is not paused under Settings → General. If the app was quit, the gap is shown separately on the timeline rather than counted as work, so a missing block usually means the app wasn’t running.
I never see the break invitation.
Three things silence it: notifications turned off in Settings, Do Not Disturb being active, and the meeting rule — while a known meeting app holds the microphone, reminders are held. The daily goal panel says when Do Not Disturb is the reason.
The reminder doesn’t appear in my screen recording.
That is deliberate. The invitation panels are excluded from screen capture so they never appear in Zoom, Teams, QuickTime or OBS.
How do I change which exercises I get?
Open the daily goal panel and choose Edit pool, or go to Settings → Exercises. You can remove a movement, add another, and turn on quick mode for anything that feels long.
How do I restore a purchase?
Settings → General → Subscription, then Restore. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple Account and are shared with Family Sharing.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything it recorded lives inside its own container on your Mac, and goes with it.
Is it really filmed in real time?
Yes. The clips are recorded at the actual pace of the movement and play once, in real time. They are not sped up, looped or mirrored. Quick mode stops the video at a round boundary — an early finish, not a cut — and the full dose stays written on screen.
Does my data sync between machines?
Not yet. Version one is local only: your data lives on the Mac that recorded it. Sync between your Macs is coming to Calyvento Plus, and it will be optional.
What happens at midnight, or when my Mac sleeps?
Both are handled. The day rolls over properly at midnight, and a sleep gap is reconciled when the machine wakes, so yesterday’s totals are never shown as today’s.
Which languages does it speak?
Fourteen: English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese — the whole interface, including every exercise title and instruction. This website is in English and Turkish for now.
Is there an iPhone app?
A companion app is in progress. The Mac app is the product; the phone is there to see the same day from somewhere else.
